Anna Wayland began her career in music as a rock guitarist, heavily influenced by jazz and classical music. Her passion for creating songs that are emotionally impactful and timeless led her to travel the world over as both a songwriter and performer, collaborating with some of the most brilliant and talented musicians across all genres.
Upon hearing one of Anna’s worktapes, A&R veteran Drew Dixon arranged for Anna’s first "professional" co-writing session with John Legend. Interest from major music publishers quickly followed, and Anna signed with EMI Music Publishing.
Regularly traveling between New York, Los Angeles, and the UK, Anna’s songwriting has been honed for pop, rock, and soulful singer/songwriter music, as well as music for film and TV. She is currently working with today's top producers, artists, and songwriters from around the world, accumulating cuts both in the United States and internationally.
“I love what I do, as I'm always expanding my musicianship,” Anna says. “To me, the process is the arrival."
